I installed expresso, I created an event with 5 prices but I don’t know where to set my paypal account and to make the customer to pay also with the Canadian tax. I search for that… in vain. |
Hi there Pierre, Could you let us know what version of Event Espresso you are using? — |

The last one : I installed it today : Event Espresso – 4.1.12.reg If you came to this page from another website, please return to that site (don’t use your browser’s Back button) and restart your activity. If you came from PayPal’s website, click the PayPal logo in the upper-left corner to return to our home page and restart your activity. You might have to log in again. |
Hi Pierre, I’m logged in to your site right now with the credentials you sent with the support token and the PayPal settings are currently set to use the PayPal sandbox. In order to use PayPal sandbox, you’ll need to set up a sandbox account. Your regular PayPal account address will not work with PayPal sandbox. You can either set the sandbox option to No to start taking payments or create a sandbox account if you want to test it first. With the taxes, it looks like you already have this set up. I’ll try to clarify how Event Espresso 4 allows you to add a tax amount to the ticket: You set the tax amount by going to Event Espresso > Pricing and edit the Federal Tax Modifier and enter the amount you need to add tax. Then you can add the tax to the ticket price in the Event editor by checking a box that says “This ticket is taxable”. This allows you to tax some tickets, and not tax other tickets. |
