Good afternoon,
I am looking for guidance to increase the functionality between event espresso and paypal. Right now all of our payments are showing up as “Shopping Cart” in our downloads of activity. I’d like it to list the class name if possible.

Hello,
That is the correct behavior. However, when you view a specific payment, you should see the event information under the shopp cart contents.

Thank you for your quick reply. I am trying to see the class name in the History Download to reconcile monthly payments. When I log into paypal I can see which event they registered for, but when I download all the information at the end of the month to do reconciliation no specific event information shows up and that’s when I really need it. Any thoughts?

Hi Pat,
When downloading the PayPal activity, there’s a checkmark at the button (‘Include Shopping Cart details (comma and tab delimited files only).’) When marked, it should download the associated shopping cart contents for each transaction.
Have you tried that? Or are you using a different file format (other than the supported csv and tsv)?
