Hi!

I have searched the forum but was unable to find an explanation for this…
I have one registration that was made for 3 attendees. One of them canceled. Shouldn’t this affect the amount due in the transaction? Although the payment was already made for the remainder two, the transaction status remains “Incomplete”.

How can I remove (and add) people to a registration/transaction?

Thanks,

Here is an example of the behaviour:

http://inscricoes.upaya.pt/thank-you-2/?e_reg_url_link=1-8c0ced8a7da60ed8b93bd014fce1fced

There two attendees Approved (with payment) and one cancelled.
The payment status remains “Incomplete”.

Thanks

Hi there,

How can I remove (and add) people to a registration/transaction?

Currently you can not add or remove people from the registration/transaction, you would need to re-create the registration selecting the correct number of tickets and inputting the same user details into the new registration.

You can then manually apply the payment to the registration and cancel the original registration.

There two attendees Approved (with payment) and one cancelled.
The payment status remains “Incomplete”.

Currently if you set a registration to cancelled it will not recalculate the transaction, you would need to do the above an re-create the registration selecting the correct amount of tickets.

We do have an open ticket to re-calculate the transaction if a a registration is cancelled, but it is currently not included within EE.

Hi Tony!

Thank you for your reply.

When you mention “re-create the registration” that would require asking the client to do it again or to be done by us on his behalf? Either way, hes going to receive all the messages again…

We will keep waiting for the transaction recalculation…

Thanks,

Tony

You can do it on the users behalf within the admin.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Events.

Hover over the event name and you’ll see a link for ‘Registrations’

Click that to view registrations for that event, now at the top click ‘Add New registration’

You’ll see the ticket selector within the admin that you can use.

Either way, hes going to receive all the messages again…

When you perform actions within the admin you’ll see a ‘Send Related Messages’ checkbox, if that is unchecked the attendee will not be sent any messages other than Payment messages.
