I supposed to check the email log on your site, but it seems not available. This should be easy to check using our latest plugin update as all messages sent / failed has Log information. May we know what holding you back to go for EE5 migration? ee3 is considered our ‘legacy’ product, it’s no longer receives updates. The wp update, php update and other theme updates may cause issue and conflict to your current plugin. thanks |

EE (both ee3 and ee4) technically dont ‘send’ email themsevles, they build out the email content/headers and pass it to wp_mail() to do whatever the server is set up to do to send the email. So issues with emails are usually down to the mail server in use or however the site is set up to send emails. You will be needing plugin like this https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ or similar to see the reason why it might failed. We advice that you migrate to EE5, if you need to migrate your custom code, you can contact developer here. https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/ What custom code you did add? there might be already available in EE5. thanks |

If its email issue how its ending receipt for monerise? |
|
If its email issue how its ending receipt for moonrise? |
|
If its email issue how its ending receipt when user makes payment with moneris ? |
|
Right, we need to know why it didn’t send, and we can only check this if we have this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ or similar. We need to see the reason why it might failed. We advice that you migrate to EE5. EE3 is our legacy version and we’re not doing any update on it. the error could be a conflict with the PHP and other plugin installed or something we might see from the log. If you need to move your custom code, you can check developers here. https://eventespresso.com/developers/event-espresso-pros/ You can also tell us what those custom code does, we might have snippet ready and the EE5 may have that feature already. thanks |

Hi there, When you say ‘receipt’, what exactly are you referring to here please? EE doesn’t send a ‘receipt’ via email so I’m trying to clarify what is working so I know where to look. When people pay using PayPal Pro, do they get the confirmation email from EE? It looks like you have custom confirmation emails so I assume you know what I referring to as they are specifically set on each event. Do those send?
Based on the term “receipt”, I’m guessing Moneris is sending the user a confirmation separately from EE and PayPal does not. But I could be wrong here as the above doesn’t really clarify what is/is not sending. Do you have an example of what is sent with Moneries vs what is sent with PayPal? Screenshots for example? |

Yeah, so that’s not an email from Event Espresso, it looks like an email directly from Moneris themselves triggered by them when a payment is made. As far as I am aware PayPal Pro doesn’t support a separate email directly from PayPal themselves, you’ll only get the EE Confirmation email. |
