I’ve recently switched to Event Espresso from another plug-in. When I initially installed the plug-in the payment method page was present and operating normally. WordPress started acting up, not letting me edit Pages, and so I restored to a recent back-up (2 days ago) and cleared my cache. Back to normal. I reinstalled EE because it wasn’t present in the back-up and now the Payment Methods Page is blank. The tabs at the top are visible and I’m able to see the Settings and Log pages. I’ve searched prior threads and tried everything but debugging because that’s a little over my head.
Here’s what I’ve done:
– uninstalled, deleted, and reinstalled the plug-in = no change
– deactivated all other plug-ins = no change
– changed themes (although it worked before) = no change
– made sure permissions were correct = no change
– added permissions = got “Bank” to show up but not PayPal which is what I need. Format doesn’t appear correct either.
There have been no updates done to trigger the change either.
I installed the User Role Editor as suggested in a previous post and added the following:
ee_payment_method_bank
ee_payment_method_flexible_onsite
ee_payment_method_stripe
ee_payment_method_stripe_onsite
What you can do is go to your site’s Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset page, then click the button:

The above page may or may not be in the menu if other capabilites are missing due to the database shenanigans done earlier. If no menu item then you can add the following after your site’s domain to go directly to the page:
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_maintenance_settings&action=data_reset
