I’ve got a Event Espresso 3.1.37.4 and I’m trying to repair the previous Authorize.net configuration but I’m not seeing a Payment Methods button or tab. Am I missing something?
It turns out Event Espresso 3 does not have a Payment Methods tab. Instead, it has a Payment Settings menu item located under the main Event Espresso menu. Can you find it?
No sir. I cannot. I see Organization Settings, Page Settings, Email Settings. Under Advanced I see Optional Event Settings, reCaptcha Settings, Support Settings and UXIP Settings.
Under a local copy of Event Espresso I’ve downloaded and installed, Payment Settings is between Templates Settings and Ticket Templates but there is no Payment Settings in my remote install. It goes straight from Template Settings to Ticket Templates.
You ran into some issues last week that were due to some customized files that got emptied out. I suspect the same thing is happening here. Based on what we found last week, the first place where I’d check is look for some emptied out files is in /wp-content/uploads/espresso/, specifically in the /gateways folder of that location.
If nothing turns up there, you can also check in the active WordPress theme for functions that were added that affect Event Espresso. Along with that, you can also check for any active WP plugins that have Event Espresso customizations.
