Hi,
I wanted to switch from sandbox to live mode in the paypal express settings and get the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_error_message() on array in …/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/payment_methods/forms/PayPalSettingsForm.php:111 Stack trace: #0 …/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/payment_methods/forms/PayPalSettingsForm.php(177): EventEspresso\core\services\payment_methods\forms\PayPalSettingsForm->checkForCredentialsErrors() #1 …/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/form_sections/base/EE_Form_Section_Proper.form.php(960): EventEspresso\core\services\payment_methods\forms\PayPalSettingsForm->_validate() #2 …/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/form_sections/base/EE_Form_Section_Proper.form.php(314): EE_Form_Section_Proper->_validate() #3 …/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/libraries/form_sections/base/EE_Form_Section_Pr in …/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/services/payment_methods/forms/PayPalSettingsForm.php on line 111
Do you have an idea, how to deal with it? Is it possible to change the sandbox-boolean directly in the database or are there other changes in the db involved?
May I ask did you also change the API keys when changing the setting to live mode? If not, then that’s what led to an error. You’ll need to change the API credentials to use a live PayPal account (not a sandbox account) when changing over from sandbox to live.
