Hi Event Espresso Support,

Currently we are using add ons plugin named “iPay88 Payment Gateway” since last year. It is working fine until last moth. There are some issue regarding payment status. Whenever user made a payment using ipay88, it is said that the transaction is completed and on top of that, they also received payment gateway confirmation email, but in our website dashboard/backend, it is still showing pending payment. I think we are having issues on instant payment notification. I am not sure if is it the plugin problem or the payment gateway issues?

Currently we are using “Event Espresso – iPay88 Payment Gateway (EE 4.8+) version 1.0.2.p”

May I know what is the latest version of “iPay88 Payment Gateway”? Did you think this issue because of we are not update the plugin to the latest version since the support license has expired?

[UPDATE] After renew the license and update the plugin to the latest version (“Event Espresso – iPay88 Payment Gateway (EE 4.8+) version 1.0.3.p”) still doesn’t fix the problem.

Hi there,

EE support generally do not monitor the community forum regularly, as you now have a license I’ve moved your thread to premium forums.

May I ask, are you using iPay88 Malaysia or Indonesia?

Hi Tony,

I’m using iPay88 Malaysia.

Btw I realised something. When I go to the wordpress > Dashboard > Event Espresso > Transaction, I can see the customer made a payment using ipay88 and I need to click “apply payment” manually to change the status from “pending payment” to “approved”.

Is there any setting where I can make it automatically approved after customer made a payment?

p/s: I am not sure if this related to my issue. Kindly advice.

That happens automatically when a payment is confirmed, in this case, the IPN isn’t working so that step isn’t happening.

It looks like iPay88 changed the URL used a little while ago and are no longer handling the original URL (either in the same way they used to or at all).

I’ve just pushed an update for the iPay88 payment method (v1.0.4.p) to use those new URL’s, if you can’t see the update available in Dashboard -> Plugins then go to Event Espresso -> General Settings, don’t change anything and just hit save, that will force EE to recheck for updates.

If you update to the latest version does the next ‘live’ payment made work as expected?
