Is there a way to set the events in EE4 to show the name of the event in Stripe – an most importantly in their downloadable csv file – it does show with the initial charge.. The organization’s account manager is going crazy at having to decode everything manually to enter in her books. Will write to them as well – assuming it is their software not yours – tho all intial payments only show an initial persons name not an event name – which we need to show up too.

Hi there,
Event Espresso doesn’t support ‘initial charges’, so may I ask how you have that setup?
The order description sent to Stripe payments made with EE should be something like:
Event Registrations from {site_name} for {event_name}

Not an initial charge – the charge you send in to Stripe – i think it is their issue – waiting to hear back – your charge shows up properly in Stripe – but their CSV export of the charges are all a jumble of letters and numbers instead of saying ‘Donation’ – or ‘Event-XYZ’. was hoping that you could help with this – all charges to them are currently made in EE3 as this is the old and only active site – the new site has EE4 but not live yet..
