The Authorize.net SIM payment form is not showing on my event registrations. I have updated EE to 3.1.37. Test here: https://www.businesswithpurpose.com/event-registration/?ee=35 The [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] is actually hardcoded in a template file, not in the WP Editor. It is running in a sidebar on the events page. |
|
Also, I forgot to mention. I did try troubleshooting by adding Check/Money Order gateway as well. That did not show up either. |
Hi Grif, this is a customized registration checkout flow. Are you still in touch with the developer that customized your site? Here is what the registration checkout flow is on a default install: Attendee/registrant arrives at single event page and completes registration form –> Attendee/registrant then confirms registration which records it to the database –> *Attendee/registrant then pays for registration –> Attendee/registrant views thank you page and email notifications are sent out If no registration payment is due, then they would immediately see the thank you page instead. — |

Sorry, I described the problem incorrectly. The gateway is not being displayed at all. In other words, the Transactions page is never displayed when payment is due. The EE settings are configured for Transactions page. That page does have the correct shortcode on it. But it seems the registration is never redirected there. |

Well, maybe this is a theme issue. I just added the ESPRESSO_EVENTS shortcode to the editor of the event-registration page and then tested from there (instead of the sidebar). The form did redirect correctly to the payment gateway page (directly on Authorize.net, not on the site). It is working well enough now. |
Thanks for letting us know Grif. The four WordPress pages with the Event Espresso shortcodes do need to be published and publicly available. Otherwise, you may run into strange issues during registration checkout. — |

I spoke too soon. The page is NOT consistently redirecting to the payment page. |

Looks like this might have been an issue with the Authorize.net SIM gateway. I switched over to AIM, and it works perfectly and consistently. thanks |
Hi Grif, we can help you troubleshoot the payment gateway that isn’t working. Authorizenet AIM is onsite whereas Authorizenet SIM processes the payment on a secure Authorizenet server. Let us know the payment gateway that you would like to use for your project. Thanks — |
