Since I switched to 4.9.34, the custom Moneris Payment Gateway no longer returns approved or declined. The shopping cart “Registration Checkout” is returned with blank content. Please help as my customers do not get notification.

The declined URL from the Moneris offsite gateway returns to: <domain>/registration-checkout/?step=payment_options&ee_cancel_payment=1#checkout

Where domain is my site domain.
Registration Checkout page is returned as a header with no content when declined. The same goes for approved.

Hi there,

We can’t provide support for a payment method we did not write ourselves, however we can help troubleshoot a little.

Did you write the payment method yourself or did a developer create the payment method for you?

Since I switched to 4.9.34

From which version?

The shopping cart “Registration Checkout” is returned with blank content

Have you tried setting the server to display errors and view what is happening on this ‘blank page’? (Enable WP_DEBUG and retest)

Hi Tony. The previous version was 4.9.8p with PHP 5.4.3.9. EE4 is running on Centos 6 server, PHP version is 5.6 now running with PHP FastCGI, it was originally 5.4.3.9 running with PHP FastCGI.

I had a developer create the code, but no code change since October 2016. It was running.

Can you please advise the correct URLs to use for offsite gateway to return to EE4 for both approved and declined and assist with the debugs?

Also, how can I note payment as received (approved) and registration completed so I can send out the confirmation email to the attendees.

We cannot assist with custom developed gateway troubleshooting. We can assist with the debugs if you can check the errors getting logged from the blank page.

PHP 5.6 (formerly 5.4)
FastCGI (disabled DSO/mod_php)
Zend Opcahe (uninstalled)
EE 4.9.31 running
WP_DEBUG running and its debug log on.

I received the following error. “An error has occurred:
Direct access to the registration checkout page is not allowed.
InvalidCheckoutAccess – checkoutAccessIsInvalid – 68”

You need to contact the developer who created the payment method and have them fix this. Either they are hardcoding the URLs within the payment method or trying to access SPCO directly to update the payment/registration, without seeing the code its impossible to know which.

I reverted back to the older version and it is working okay. It is a bit slow running. Even though I have 512MB, PHP 5.6 and FastCGI. No mod_rewrite enabled.

Any recommendations for this.

Hi there,

I checked the page you linked to and it’s throwing an Internal Server Error at the moment.

It is fine now. It appears Tony Warwick name was used on a registration on April 3rd.

Yes I made a registration on the 3rd, when there is a report of slow loading times I spread out registrations at various times to help rule out server load if possible.

I didn’t see any issues with EE loading any info during the registration however I did not complete a payment.

At what point are you noticing 15 second load times?
