Hi, I’m trying to figure out when the above messages are triggered and the differences. I couldn’t find anything in the documentation. If there is, please point me to it, thanks.
For the most part, they are based on the response received from the payment provider.
The Payment Failed message type will be triggered 99% of the time when a merchant declines a payment.
Payment Declined and Cancelled will generally only be triggered if you manually change the status of a payment and to either Declined or Cancelled and trigger messages when doing so.
