Hi

We have an event that is Muddy Boots Kids Club

we offer a payment of cards or pay on the door

For those selecting Pay on the Door – it is shwoing as Pending Payment – Incomplete

However it is not taking this as a booking and therefore still showing the space available.

for example I have 24 children booked for one of the dates next week (total available 25) and it shows 10 booked and 15 free spaces. The 10 have all fully completed checkout and paid via mijireh or paypal

Is there a way to show those that are paying on the door have the booking place allocated to them?

I changed one of the payment methods described on another thread to make the Pay on the Door option

Thanks

Thanks

Hi there,

Currently the offline payment methods (ones that do not take payment at that time) will not Approve the registration as monies are still owing on the transaction.

You would need to manually edit the registrations and set the status to approved to have them apply to the sold values of the events.

If you go to Event Espresso -> Events -> *hover over event name* -> Registrations.

You’ll see a list of registration for the event, now if you use the checkbox next to each of the pending registration that you want to approved you can select multiples, select ‘Approve Registrations’ from the dropdown and then click apply – http://take.ms/SDdZr

That will approve those registration and then they apply to the sold vlaues.

Is that what you are looking for?

Hi,

A registrant/attendee is counted when they receive a registration status of registration approved.

If the event is free, then this happens right away after they submit their attendee details. If the event is paid, then this happens after they submit their registration details and pay.

The issue here is you could mark those registrants/attendees as paid and they may not actually show up.

Approving them does the trick.

Although we limit to 25 we can take more bookings so not too much of an issue if they book but dont turn up

Thanks both for the replies

Great 🙂

One other but of information to add, if you want the user to receive the Registration Approved message when you approve the registrations you can use “Approve and Notify Registration” from the dropdown to do that.
