Pay By Credit card fields disappear when using Internet Explorer

Hi. We have an urgent issue.

We have just found out that the credit card fields disappear when the Pay by Credit Card option is chosen. This happens when using Internet Explorer.

Try it out on the following page using Internet Explorer
http://www.fearlesspresentations.com/event-registration?ee=65 and select Pay By Credit Card. You will see that the fields momentarily appear and then disappear.

Can you please let us know what the issue is asap as we have a lot of clients needing to book.

Hi Jason,

I can see the issue on your site but I am unable to replicate it locally, so it might be a JS or CSS clash.

Could you try adding the following CSS to your themes style.css file or to a plugin such as My Custom CSS:

.payment-option-dv {
position: inherit !important;
}

It seems to work from the tests I have done, but until it is in place it’s hard to confirm if it does indeed work or not.

Thanks for your response. I have added that code to the themes style.css file and the issue still persists.

Hi Doug,

You could do some troubleshooting and see if we can find the conflict.

You could try disabling all plugins except EE and swap to a default theme (you can use a plugin like Theme Test Drive for this).

If the issue persists with a default theme and no other plugins active let us know.

However if it’s fine, then test with your normal theme and then reactivate the plugins one by one testing each time.

It’s a pain to do this, but it will allow us to find out where the issue lies, as I can’t recreate this locally.

Thanks Dean. The site is live and is accessed by a lot of people so I am a little reluctant to cause any instability. I will get a developer to look at it to see what could be causing this.

Hi Doug,

Please let us know when you are able to test. Then entire process should take about 5 minutes.

You could try during off-hours and you can speed up the test by opening two windows side by side.

Then in one window start a registration and in the other toggle plugins on and off (while you test registrations in the first window).
