We are converting over conference website that allows partial payments to be made because of the large groups that register up to a year in advance. It appears that partial payments was removed from EE 4 and their seems to be a lot of people in the support forum looking for solutions. Do you have a 3rd party addon or list of developers that can add this feature if it’s not going to be added to EE 4?
I’ve seen this solution posted several times https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/c49bda15961f9f7d19ab, but it doesn’t allow for partial payments to be made, just fixed payment amounts.
Any suggestions you may have will be greatly appreciated.

It looks like the display of past payments was removed for some reason. Most likely by accident. I have followed up with our developers about this and they will be looking into it soon.
Is that all that was needed on your end? Or do you have other features you would like to see? Would you be interested in sponsoring any new features for this?

Will you guys be adding the ability to make partial payments or deposits back any time soon? Is there any other option, 3rd party add on or developer that you know of that can help us get this ability? I understand the two ticket solution for deposits, but that seems hard to manage when you have lots and lots of attendees.

We’re not sure what you mean by adding it back, because it sounds like you’re referring to something that was already there, but removed. Can you clarify?

It appears that it used to work or there used to be a workaround in EE3. Here are two of the help topics:

there are many more along those lines for EE3. It seems to be a highly requested feature so I was wondering if over time there has been a better solutions or plans to add it.

There are plans to add support for partial payments in Event Espresso 4 if enough users request it, and you are invited to leave a comment and vote for this feature on its trello board:

I have done this, however I think the 4 votes does not accurately reflect the number of people who have requested this over the last few years. If you look back through the support forums at the number of requests, tickets, and ‘hacks’ you will see that there are far more people out there that have asked about this before. Partial payments/deposits are very important to camps and conferences.

I agree and we do factor those requests when it’s time to decide on what to build next.
