I would like to set up a partial payment or deposit on my website for the course I offer. Is this possible using EE4?

Hi there,
Currently Event Espresso does no support partial payments on the front end.
It is possible for user to make payments outside of Event Espresso (though PayPal or via cash/cheque for example) and the admin can manually apply the payment to the transaction, allowing the user to pay the remainder, would that would work?
We do have this feature on our roadmap here:

It is a shame event espresso, does not have this facility. It is something my customers would prefer to be able to do. Do you have a time frame for when this might be available with event espresso?

I don’t have an ETA on when this will be available at this time.
Event Espresso core can handle partial payments but a full front-end UI needs to be built to allow this to happen within.
