Hello,

I used to overwrite the invoice PDF template in this folder :
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/modules/gateways/Invoice/lib/templates/invoice_body.templates.php

It used to work, but since I upgraded to version 4.3.1 it stopped working.

Did you change the way we override templates ?

Thanks

Hi Olivier,

I checked on this and it has not changed as of EE 4.4.3.p. You’ll want to make sure your filename is invoice_body.template.php and not invoice_body.templates.php.

That said, there is a change to the invoice system coming in Event Espresso 4.5 where you’ll be able to customize the invoice template from within the WordPress admin. This will be similar to how email notification messages are customized.

Hello,

We’ll be releasing 4.5 later this year.

So you confirm that it’s not possible to override templates the way explained above ?

I can confirm it still works to copy templates to /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates in Event Espresso 4.4.

Event Espresso 4.5 is also available as a pre-release if you’d like to test it out one a development server.
