Hi – We already use admin registration page <wp-admin/admin.php?page=espresso_registrations&action=new_registration> so that staff can take bookings over the phone etc.

Often enough to be a problem they get asked to make reservations, for a party who have previously registered a booking including ‘required’ tickets, that do not include required tickets. In this, manual, process this is valid as it is known that the ‘required’ tickets have been purchased.

Is there a way to do this using the current admin processes?

If not, I was thinking of adding an “override minimum requirements” checkbox to the reservation screen (only when the user is logged in). When checked it would stop the minimum requirements check and add a zero option to the quantity pulldowns.

How feasible is this?

Hi Richard,

As of this writing, the way to do this using current admin processes is to cancel the original registration and re-register them. We’d like to add a feature that allows for adding on more registrations for a single transaction, but I can add your idea for overriding a required ticket as a feature request.
