I help merchants and organizations find cash flow/distribution solutions. I have worked with the gateway PayTrace; they recommended you as a solution for a prospect. This merchant has asked about on-site registration/ticket sales. Can they use EE to sell registration/tickets on-site on the day of an event? If so can they record these sales so that all sales reporting is in one place? I have other prospects, clients and associates who are web developers; is their anywhere for me to access sales support for EE? |

Hi Tim, Event Espresso is an online registration system. As such they can take registrations onsite, but would still need to process it via the website, either in the admin or from the front of the site. “is their anywhere for me to access sales support for EE?” General support is provided via the forums. DO you have a specific query? |

Hi folks. I help my clients find sales/cash flow/distribution solutions. EE was recommended by The tech support team at PayTrace. Can EE help with both online onsite registration/ticket sales? Will the user/merchant be able to document onsite sales? Online and or onsite merchandise sales? These are not deal breakers; it will just mean that I will need to provide another solution for onsite operations. |

Sorry about the awkwardness in utilizing this forum; I’ll get the hang of it. I regards to Sales Support: my plan is to meet with the client and their web developer. (I can disclose who they are in a more private communication.) Is there a video presentation or webinar that would help with presenting? If an attendee wants to register/purchase tickets onsite, are you saying that someone would need to go through the registration process online? In this scenario, would there be a way to document cash transactions? I am asking because it would make reporting easier because all transactions would be handled through one solution. How do organizers usually handle onsite ticket sales at this time? Do attendees use a mobile device to register/purchase tickets? The prospect may see the elimination of the need to handle cash as a positive. |
Hi there Tim, Our support forums are our primary tool for providing support as we have multiple team members across different time zones. I do want to mention that our forums are public to members of Event Espresso. If you would like to switch to a more private discussion, then you can get in touch with sales through the following email: sales [at] eventespresso.com PayTrace is would be available online through your website. You could use a mobile payments solution like Square, PayPal here, or Intuit GoPayment to accept payments onsite. Then you could add these attendees through WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> Event Overview –> Attendees –> Add New Attendee screen. Hope this helps! — |
