My hope is to use Event Espresso for charity events. The most recent is a 5K run. Will Event Espresso allow registrations to create a Team (add members to their team)? and allow registrants to join a “regisrant created” team?
If this is not currently possible… Can said feature be purchased? At what cost?

Hi, Event Espresso is generally used for registering attendees/registrants for one or more events. It sounds like you need a team management solution that allows adding and removing of participants to a roster.
Event Espresso does not currently have that feature available as an add-on.
