Hi, I am looking to replace my online booking calendar. Do I need to use Event Espresso with WordPress? If so, I also must have a WordPress paid account? Thank you for your time.

Do I need to use Event Espresso with WordPress?
Event Espresso is a WordPress plugin, so yes it needs to be installed within your WordPress site…
However, I think you may be confusing WordPress (as in the self hosted software) with WordPress.com (managed hosting).
