The staff was so helpful with the other question i asked, I have another.

I would like to offer bundles for my customer for buying two or more camp slots. I understand how that works. So my question is, can I make the customer chose their camp days. I want to know what days they are choosing for tickets. How can get I achieve this.

Hi Michel,

Here is an example of how to use the multiple date times and tickets feature:

https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/2caa7418eb152329959e

It works by assigning a specific ticket option to having access to certain datetimes for an event. Then when someone buys that pricing option, they will gain access to date times available under that ticket option.

I appreciate the example Lorenzo. From looking at your example, it seems the answer to my question is no.

I really want to be able to offer a bulk discount and it seems this is a limitation of Event Espresso. I cannot give volume discounts and I cannot use the concept of packages because they need to specify which two out the eight camp times they can come to. Any other ideas on how to give a discount based on purchase.

Hi Michel,

To do this within EE4 you will need to create multiple packages, each assigned to specific datetimes the user can register onto.

For example you could have a ticket assigned to Datetime 1 + Datetime 2, another ticket assigned to Datetime 1 + Datetime 3 and so on. The user would then need to select the correct ticket to register onto the correct datetimes.

It is currently not possible to purchase a ticket and then select which datetimes that ticket should apply to during the registration so the above is the only way to achieve something similar to what you need within EE.

I have 7 camp times I think it might look a bit silly to have 8 different types of tickets with these camp times. Thank you for the information. If you can think of any way that would be presentable and easy for my customers to follow along with, I would greatly appreciate it.

Question, if I did it your way Tony, how can i make sure that they let me know what camp times they are coming to attend to.

Hello,

You could add that information to the individual ticket options. Here is an example:

Camp registration for Spring week 1 – week 4

So if I have six camps
Camp week 1- week 2
camp week 1- week 3
camp week 1 -week 4
camp week 1- week 5
camp week 1 -week 6
camp week 2- week 3
camp week 2- week 4
camp week 2 -week 5
camp week 2- week 6
camp week 3 -week 6

see my problem. How do I easily let them register for multiple events and still know what week they are coming.

It seems since bundling is how I offer discounts for multiple registrations how can i do this. I really miss the volume discount feature.
