Hi team I’m using yours and another plugin on a site. We use paypal to process all transactions. I’m wondering how we can get people back to two diff pages after purchasing with paypal, One is a membership payment, the other an event booking. I want to find our if I can have two return urls |
The return URL is passed to the PayPal by the Event Espresso plugin. So, it should not be a problem. Is it not working that way for you currently? |

Seth is it the Auto return url that is the page. I was looking for it in the paypal setup area. |

OK so I made a test payment and I came back. It wasn’t an auto return like other paypal payments are, I had to click return to xx site and then it went to the 10 second redirect screen. Any way to make it auto return without having to click to so Yes I want to go back to.? It is setup in paypal to auto return but to another url, one that is used for other payments. Thanks |
Not that I know of. I think you can only have one auto-return URL set up in PayPal. Event Espresso passes the return URL back to the dedicated “Thank You” page for Event Espresso. That page should display the results of that transaction. |

Hi, I have the same question. I’d like to use Paypal with the Event Espresso plugin for event booking capability and with WPMUDEV Membership plugin to allow visitors to register as a member and pay the fee through Paypal. Does that mean I can setup a different return URL somewhere depending if the visitor registers for an event or for membership? Thank you, Aurelien |

Event Espresso passes the url of the page you have designated in EE->General Settings->Page Settings->Auto Return URL to paypal, and that is the page that the user will return to when they register for and pay for an event. Your membership plugin may use the return url you have set up in your paypal account, your home page, or a page they have designated. It depends on the membership plugin. |

My site isn’t redirecting back to the Thank You page from Paypal, but the Notify URL page. Is that right? |
No, it’s not right. You can check your page settings under Event Espresso>General settings>Page settings and make sure that the Notify URL and Thank You pages are set up correctly, and that they have the correct shortcodes. |
