Hi,
I will be holding a series of events this summer.
I’d like one event for each date with ticketing.
The capacity is 320 BUT, I have 4 ticket types and values.
Level one has 2 ticket types with a combined capacity of 200.
Level two has 2 ticket types with a combined capacity of 120.
Can I restrict the number of tickets available i.e. 200 & 120 in a single event or is it stuck with the full 320?

How are you today?
Can you describe what a “Level” is?
With EE3 all tickets are counted against the event capacity, so it disregards the individual ticket quantity.
With EE4, you can have a datetime capacity limit and individual ticket limits.
Does that help? If you can provide more information I can give you more information.

Hi Garth,
Thanks for your reply. By level, it’s just an area, we have standard and VIP with two tiers in each area.
So, under one event I’d like 4 ticket types available 40/160/60/60 = 320
It seems that EE4 will achieve this BUT…. we are using the Ticketing Add On which is not yet compatible.
Is there another option or a timeline for compatibility with EE4?

Hi,
Currently the ticketing addon wont work with EE4.
We are creating addons for EE4 as we speak, but it may be some time before all add ons are ported over.
We cannot advise a timescale on when an individual add on will be ready for EE4, sorry about that.
