Using WP version 3.9.1
Event Expresso EE4 v4.2.4
New within the last 3 months and recently upgraded

I would like to have a daily report that includes all transactions for all events on one report. Is there a way to do this?

Hello,

This is not currently available in Event Espresso. However, it does sound like an interesting idea for a reporting plugin.

Is there a shortcode that I can use on a private page that would list transactions? or attendees by purchase date? My client wants to switch to a new event manager plug in since Event Espresso does not do this…..please help, I do not want to switch.

Hello,

Available shortcodes are in WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> Help & Support.

There isn’t a shortcode to show transactions on a WordPress post or page but the transactions page in the WordPress admin shows all available transactions. You can filter by a specific event by hovering over an event title and clicking on View transactions for this event.

The transactions page might work for what we want. The code on that page now is [ESPRESSO_TXN_PAGE]
When I go to that page, it says “An error occurred. No ID or an invalid ID was supplied.” How do I fix this?

There isn’t a shortcode to display the transactions on a WordPress page or post.

The shortcode that you mentioned is for payment processing and is used for one of the Event Espresso critical pages in WP-admin –> Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Critical Pages.

Can you tell us more about this:

“There isn’t a shortcode to show transactions on a WordPress post or page but the transactions page in the WordPress admin shows all available transactions. You can filter by a specific event by hovering over an event title and clicking on View transactions for this event.”

Lorenzo – in your reply above you stated “the transactions page in the WordPress admin shows all available transactions. You can filter by a specific event by hovering over an event title and clicking on View transactions for this event.”
How do I get the transactions page to do this?

WordPress admin –> Event Espresso –> Transactions.

Hover over an event name and a link will appear for View Transactions for this event.

Clicking on that link will take you to a page that shows transactions for only that event.

So I cannot get it to show transactions for all events then?
When I go to WordPress admin->Event Espresso I do not see an option for Transactions…..see image

That screenshot is from Event Espresso 3. However, in your original message you ask for help with EE4.

Which version are you currently using?

Well, I thought it was EE4 but I guess it is EE3. In my plugins page it says Version 3.1.36.5.P

Hi Brian,

The transactions page in the admin is for EE4 only.

In EE3, the closest we have to a transaction list is the Attendee Export. Hover your mouse over an event in the Event Overview and click attendees from the mini menu that appears. Then you will see the attendee list for that event. You can click the Export to Excel button below the list to get a CSV file that contains info such as amount paid and date paid.

@Ken Reed – as per above, its a feature in EE4. In EE4 registrations and transactions are separated much more than they are in EE3, so they have their own screen. Here’s a screenshot from a test site http://take.ms/kQQoo

Hi Brain,

Looking at the site you link to it appears to be working?

Can you explain what issue are currently seeing?

I did restore to get the website back up and running. When I tried to convert to EE4 it asked if I wanted to migrate the data. I said yes and it said “In order to import all of your existing Event Espresso data, the following upgrade task needs to be performed:
•Core Data Migration to version 4.1.0”
How do I perform this upgrade?

Hello,

I would continue to use Event Espresso 3 since you need promotions & groupon:
