I have wordpress 4.7.2. Version Version 3.1.37.11.P of Event Espresso. When I click “Add Event’ It just goes straight to the home page of the site like something is broken, any ideas?

Hi there,

The problem on your site may be similar what was reported here:

That didn’t fix it. I tried switching themes and deactivating any other plugins. When I click “Add New” it still goes to home page.

Did you check the Mod_Security settings? You may need to contact your host to see if they can check the logs to find out if clicking on the “Add Event” button is triggering a mod_security rule. If they find that that’s what’s happening, they can make an adjustment to those rules.

We host this ourselves. We have checked Mod_Security and it does seem to be the problem, but how do we know what rule we need to adjust?

You check the logs and find the rule that got tripped.
