Old Registrations Lost

We just had our website redone and had the license key reset. I no long have access to any past registrations which I need. How do I get this important information back?

It depends, did whomever re-do the website take any backups of the data before they re-did the website? Did re-doing the website involve deleting any of the data that was there before?
