I’m getting a warning error in my Firebug Console that my site is still looking for the style-skin-4.css file, but EE no longer uses it. I can’t find it embedded in my theme’s CSS files, so I’m at a loss as to where it is getting called. Can you help me know where to look? Thanks! |

Hi, I would guess that one of the files in the wp-content/uploads/espresso directory is trying to call that CSS file. It’s hard to say without examining the files directly, but these files often get moved and then overlooked when the plugin is updated (they are designed to not be over written, but they can still become obsolete). |

I remember it was an option in the EE general settings, you could choose a couple different CSS files from a dropdown, but that is not in the latest version of ee3. I have searched my entire file directory and find no references to the CSS file. I just searched the wp_options table and found it in there via phpMyAdmin, but when I tried to delete it, it messed up all my EE organizational settings, and I had to reset them all (bummer). |
Hi, that file does not sound familiar. Were you using a theme from Parallelus in the past? http://cl.ly/image/0S3r3E0D2A3E — |

No, never used that theme. I have discovered now that some of the other EE organization settings have disappeared after I messed with the events_organization_settings value in the wp_options table. I thought I had edited the serialized string correctly, but I must not have, because my org page was empty and I had to re-fill it all via the web interface. However, now dropdown options that used to be there are gone, specifically display_short_description_in_event_list and display_description_on_multi_reg_page. The settings array was 64 elements long before I tried to edit it, and afterwards, it was only 48 or something like that, so several other attributes have disappeared. I can’t edit them in the webpage because the interface to do it is gone! I don’t think putting the original value back into the database via phpMyAdmin worked, either… the page in wp-admin seems to want to be the one to set the values. What do you suggest I do to get the rest of the attributes back? Hi, “What do you suggest I do to get the rest of the attributes back?” The easiest way would be to restore the database to a backup copy. I tried to examine the serialized text you provided, but something is wrong with it and it is being regarded as invalid, which is probably why adding it to the database option is failing. If you don’t have a database backup you will need to manually add the info back in. You could examine the serialized text for errors, but it’s likely quicker to simply add the options by hand, rather than looking for a needle in a ahy The options you have listed should not affect whether display_short_description_in_event_list and display_description_on_multi_reg_page are shown, especially as these are different options (Template settings rather than General settings). |
