Yeah, that’s a strange error and I’ve not seen that before.
It’s saying the payment method (the card) the user is using has been used before and not assigned to a ‘customer’ on Stripe’s servers.
Has the user reported this attended another event on your site? I’m not expecting you know if the user used that specific card to pay for another registration but I suspect that’s what is causing this and will do some investigating.
Yes this person has booked before several times. They may have sold their ticket before at said previous event as well, where we manually update the user record with the new details generally (because we can’t override the gender balance controls so easily so easier to do this)
I’ll check and see what we have in stripe
