Obtaining "headcount"

My initial thought is to export the registrants to excel and sort. Is there a simpler way to obtain a head count, including those who have paid and those with outstanding purchase orders?

Hi,

Yes, if you go to the Event Espresso > Events page of your site’s admin dashboard, you’ll see a column with this heading:

In that column is the count of those who’ve paid.

Then, if you go in to edit any event, over to the right side you’ll find the count of those who’ve paid, and another count of those who haven’t paid yet (Pending Payment Registrations).
