Second, my number of failed transactions is very high as well. 99% of the failed transaction is stated with “no contact record.”
What does it mean? Is it that the registrant just quit the session (close browser etc.) at the registration step of entering attendee details?
Event Espresso creates a record and then updates it as a registrant/attendee progresses through the registration process.
If you see a record without any information, then they started the registration process and then immediately abandoned (e.g. clicked away or closed browser tab).
If you see a record with some contact information but they did not pay, then they completed step 1 where they enter attendee information but did not complete the registration process. With this example, they would have an incomplete transaction and a registration status of pending payment.
You can go to the transaction page for these registrations and send a payment reminder. If they decide to pay and complete the registration, then they will be updated to a status of registration approved.
Note that registration approved affects limits that may be set on the event via the event editor. Other statuses do not.
Ok, I’ll guess they just broke with the registration process by closing the tab/browser. Thanks for the info.
