I might have a conflict with my theme…but I’ll start with EE. While the number of tickets lights up when hovered over, the number doesn’t show up on the pull down.

Hi Bennie,
The issue you are facing is the color combination of the theme which is showing white text within the dropdown.
You can use this CSS under Additional CSS(Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS) to change the color of the numbers.
.ticket-selector-tbl-qty-slct option {
color: #000;
}
