When testing the limit option and the General Settings -> Template settings (the other thread) on test sites they all worked as expected, but are obviously not working for yourself.
So I’m wondering, are you running any caching plugins or does your host run caching on the server? (you may need to contact your host if you are unsure)
Have you created a child theme using the EE template files?
I have a child theme for Divi, however, the only file in the child theme folder is a footer.php file.
EE4 seems to be working very well. It has all the features I need. However, the event listing stops at 10 and the event listing prints part of the description, even though it is after the <!–more–>.
These problems are probably related. The WP system defaults seem to be controlling regardless of the settings in EE4.
Does your theme have any settings for how archives are displayed?
