I have set the Primary Contact Email in settings to go to my client enquiries@coachingaust.com but instead all of the notifications for event registrations are coming to me – the developer. Why is this happening?
By default EE sends the Event Admin notifications to the Event Author’s email address. So if you used your user account to create the events you will be set as the event author – http://take.ms/eenJLP
You can either set the author of all of the events to a user account that uses the above email address or you can change the messages in EE to use the Primary Contact Email field you mentioned above.
If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates -> Registration Approved -> Event Admin
In the ‘To’ field you’ll have [EVENT_AUTHOR_EMAIL], change that to [CO_EMAIL].
You’ll need to repeat that step for any message type that has an ‘Event Admin’ context. See here on how to work with contexts:
