After participants finished the enrollment of workshop, we should logically receive a email that shows the information of participant and then we can contact the participant to the follow up the details. However, we receive nothing after the participants finished the enrollment, then we checked the the status of the notification email(message) always is “Queued For Sending”. Then, we only can press the button “send immediately” manually now that is not a user friendly function.
How can we get the notification email automatically? Please help.
Thanks
This happens if your site’s wp-cron doesn’t function. So reserved tickets won’t clear, scheduled posts won’t publish, emails will not process, update checks for plugins/themes/core won’t occur on schedule.
You can work around the email issue by going to Event Espresso > Messages > Message Settings and set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request.
Thank you for your reply, I tried “set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request.”, then I press Update.
However, “Generate and send all messages” is still “on a separate request”.
Also, a message shows “HTML tags are not permitted in this field” in red.
Finally, I can’t set the the option for emails to be sent on the same request.
