If you disable eea-staff-manager plugin you have enabled on the site do you still get the same error? I’m not getting this on any of my test sites, so if you test this with just Event Espresso and the WP User integration enabled do you get the same error? You can do the above using Troubleshooting mode: Tools -> Site Health -> Troubleshooting -> Enabled Troubleshooting mode. That will disable all plugins and switch to a default theme and then allow you to enable specific plugins whilst in troubleshooting mode. Once disabled you will revert back to the current state. Also, the latest version of Event Espresso is 4.10.0 but your site is still running 4.9.82, is there something preventing you from updating? |

I am only seeing status and info as options when in the site health area, no troubleshooting mode option. I have not updated because I this is a development site and when completed will be switched to the real domain and then the license will be applied and the updates made. |

My apologies, you need the Health Check plugin for troubleshooting mode: https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/ However, for full disclosure, there are reports of issues with sites not exiting troubleshooting mode correctly (note the reviews). I’ve never had an issue with using and do so often but worth mentioning. As this is a dev site the other option is to just de-active the plugins on the site and then activate them one by one retesting as you do until the error shows up again, you then know which plugin causes it.
You can update manually on the development site: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/how-to-upgrade-event-espresso/#ee4-manual-update If you wait until live to update you won’t be running the latest version of EE, meaning you may have issues with your site on the latest version you won’t know about until you go live. We recommend always testing on the latest version of Event Espresso. |

Hi Tony, I was able to figure out what was causing the notice. It turns out the WP Mobile Detect plugin that is suggested as a way to show the event table and event calendar on different devices causes the notice to be thrown. I just thought I would let you know in case it is helpful in any way. Thank you again for all of the help. |

I have that plugin installed on a couple of test sites and don’t run into any issues so that may be another symptom rather than the cause. Afaik that plugin doesn’t call kses so I think it would be strange for that to be the cause. |
