Wordpress 4.0.1
EE 4.4.5.p
+ Calendar Calendar (EE 4.3+) 3.2.1.p

Hello, I have this error on my installation :

Nothing in your Event Queue
You need to select at least one event before you can proceed with the registration process.

I saw similar topic on the forum but in my case the answer could not be a cache plugin since I don’t have one on my WordPress…

the website is : http://carrefourfamilialsj.org/
And this is an example of a event page : http://carrefourfamilialsj.org/evenements/conditionnement-physique-postnatal/

The day before, all was working, and after I did some modifications, I got this error. I did not notice at the moment so I am not sure what I did wrong…

From what I remember,
-I changed the max ticket to 1
– I added some instructions for paypal on the Event registration template (but now its removed… but the problem is still there)
– I finally adjusted the event date/time..

Any Idea ?
Thanks

Josh

Hi Guillaume,

Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot this: First, can you try temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme and see if the issue persists?

If it does, this may be a result of the mod_security rules from your host. There is another thread where someone who is also hosted on Dreamhost reported a similar issue. The issue was resolved after Dreamhost support made a few tweaks to the mod_security rules. Here’s a link to that support thread:

Hello Josh,

Thanks for the help. I switched to the default theme, accessed the event list and this time it was working. By curiosity I switched back to my theme (U-Design) and tried again.. and this time its working.

I am not sure if I fixed it yesterday without noticing it or the theme switching solve the problem ?!?

You know what… this is maybe related to the fact I was playing with the .po and .mo files to complete the french translation…

I have 2 other questions for you but on different topics, I will open new topics

See my topic here for my translation problem ; https://eventespresso.com/topic/demystify-the-translation-files/

I think I might have broken the regisration when I was using the wrong translation files (for one of my tries, I mistakenly uses EE3 translation files…)

Hi Guillaume,

Tony replied to your other post. Are you still running into the empty event messaging on your site?
