Nothing in your Event Queue after 4.9.7.p Upgrade

We recently upgraded to 4.9.7.p and the ‘Nothing in your Event Queue’ error has popped up again.

We run W3 Total Cache on the production site with the following directories excluded from page caching:
/events/
/registration-checkout/
/transactions/
/thank-you/
/registration-cancelled/

Registration worked fine up until the upgrade. Caches have been cleared and no server side caching is enabled.

Our server is a Digital Ocean VPS via a Cloudways.

Can you try going to the W3 Total cache settings and temporarily deactivate all of its features including the JavaScript compression/minification?

Hi Josh,

My apologies. We were on 4.9.6, not 4.9.7 and the 4.9.7 upgrade appears to have resolved the issue. Perhaps it was just a fluke as it suddenly appeared again with 4.9.6, then disappeared with 4.9.7.

That’s really strange and not something we have seen during testing, I run a couple of sites using W3TC and did’t run into this.

If it happens again please do let us know.
