Hello, all of a sudden we started experiencing the issue of not being able to process registrations. I found a few posts about it being related to caching but I can’t seem to be able to register even when I’m logged in. Would this still be related to cache?
Unfortunately our site is on WordPress Managed so I can’t seem to find the option to change the level of cache or do anything myself. If I contact them will they be able to exclude those critical pages from caching? And how can I tell if this is truly the issue for us?
The ‘Nothing in your event queue’ error is almost exclusively caching and with GoDaddy Managed WordPress it has been server-side caching every single time as far as I’m aware.
GoDaddy Managed WordPress forces caching on every single page of the site and you can not cache eCommerce requests like Event Espresso as each one is unique to the visitor. The EE4 critical pages (Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Critical pages) need to be excluded from the cache and if that’s not possible the caching will need to be disabled.
I’m not sure if you have an option to do that within your control panel with them but if not you will need to open up a ticket with their support team and have them do it for you.
