I am unable to get any registrations processed for this event http://www.foodgatherings.com/events/may-2015-supper-club/ It is showing the error message

Nothing in your Event Queue – You need to select at least one event before you can proceed with the registration process.

I have 4.6.23.p installed 0n latest verions of WP This worked fine until upgrade this morning.

I have cleared cached and have no cache plugins. The site is hosted on Dreamhost.

Please advise – clearly, slowly and with plain language. I am not a techie.

Thanks, Julie

Please can you advise

Hi Julie,

Can you contact your host and see if there is any Server level caching occurring on your server? This is a type of cache you have no control over, your host sets it on the server.

The Nothing in your Event Queue is usually as a result of caching and we are seeing an uptick in the number of hosts that are adding server level caching, so I’d like to rule that out first.

Hi Julie,

I took a look at your event web page. Can you make a change to the ticket’s description? Instead of what’s there now, can you change it to:

Single Supper Club Ticket for one person. Price: $50.44 + $7.63 GST = $58.50 This ticket is non refundable but if you are unable to attend you can gift the ticket to another person–please email {your email here} to confirm the transfer of ticket.

Of course you’ll need to replace {your email here} with your email address.

That should fix the issue you’re seeing with “Nothing in Event Queue”.

I have having the same problem but with only one type of ticket.
http://7foxtrot.com/events/texas-chl-course-3815/
I am running:
WordPress 4.2.1
EE4 Version 4.6.23.p
Event Espresso Calendar Version 3.2.2.p

When a customer selects a ticket that requires a $ payment it takes them to the registration form where they can fill out there information. When they select the Coupon ticket that has a $0.00 value and no invoice or payment it says the “Nothing in Event Queue” message.

PLEASE HELP

Hi Erick,

The Coupon Code ticket’s description can be changed to have less than 255 characters. After making the suggested change it will function as expected.

This is more than 255 characters:

Choose this ticket option if you have purchased a discount coupon voucher. Enter the code in the registration page. If you have a coupon that has expired it is still worth the value you paid. The coupon will become a deposit and the balance will be paid the day of the course.

I will change it but it has functioned correctly until just recently. I will also have to go into every event and change it to make it function correctly. This is my work around for not having the Groupon/Social Media coupon functionality.

I changed it to 248 characters (see below) and it has continued to go to the “Nothing in Event Queue”

“Choose this option if you have purchased a discount coupon voucher. Enter code on registration page. If the coupon has expired it is still worth the value paid. The coupon will become a deposit and the balance will be paid the day of the course.”

When I remove all text in the ticket’s description it works.

I misspoke earlier, it’s actually a 245 character limit, which will be fixed in the next update.

Hi there – it still didn’t work with any amount of characters. I’ve stripped the additional ticket text out for now but this means I now have to add information into the confirmation template. Also, when it did have fewer characters it showed the numbers of tickets available/sold/etc which shouldn’t do as I have code in functions to stop it doing this.
Please can you advise when fixed.

Hi Julie,

There’s an option now in Event Espresso > General Settings > Template settings that lets you set it so it doesn’t display tickets available/sold.

The option is under Ticket Selector Template Settings at the bottom of the template settings page. You set Show Ticket Sale Info? to No.

Josh, thanks for the help. When was the change made? I’ve had 100+ registrations without an issue till just recently. I actually had a successful one using the coupon 2 days ago. On the update, is that for the character limit or the social voucher (groupon) system?

Hi Erick,

The update was just released a little while ago today. The update is for the character limit fix.

Hi there – thanks for guiding me through this. I have updated and worked out the template options. I have left the ticket selector additional details off this event to save any immediate confusion.

Hi, I’ll go ahead and mark this as resolved.

For any other members that are running the latest WP security release (introduced this week), please upgrade to our new maintenance release for Event Espresso 4 to resolve this issue:
