As a former happy customer of EE who wanted to use EE on a new site for course registration I have to say that EE has fallen short. From our research, it appears that EE falls short in these areas:

  1. The ability to track conversions and revenue by course in Google Analytics
  2. Conversion tracking that we can pass back to Google AdWords, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  3. Integration with Hubspot Campaign tracking

The lack of these capabilities turned out to be a deal killer for me (this year) and my company went with an Eventbrite (ugh..!) integration. Are these items on any sort of roadmap? If not, who can I speak with about developing these items?

Hi,

Depending on exactly what you’re looking to do, much of this can be done with WP Fusion. For example, for Hubspot Campaign tracking, WP Fusion’s Ecommerce add-on supports sending ecommerce transaction data as Deals to your HubSpot account for sales made in Event Espresso.

If you have specific Google Analytics tracking codes that need to be pushed on the thank you page, that can also be done via the filters provided as well. Usually this involves a bit of custom code so it can be tailored to your use case. A developer from codeable.io can add this to your specification.
