Not sending Primary Registrant Successful Payment email

Not sending Primary Registrant Successful Payment email
EE Core4.9.2
MANDRILL installed an operating
Email Test plug in : Test email received
EE Email Test : Says there is an error but the test email is received.
A payment is made. The Admin received email but the Primary Registrant does mot.
The “TO” field of Primary registrant shows: [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FNAME]
Not sure what else I can do ???
I appreciate any assistance.

Hi Debbie,

[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FNAME] parses to the Attendees first name, so its sending the email to a name and not an email.

Change that shortcode to [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_EMAIL] and retest.

Does the email send?

Retested … Email was not received by Primary Recipiant.. Admin received notofication. Test of email was received at the email I am using for Primary Recipient
In Messages of EE with that mail notice it has the following error message:
“Message was not executed successfully.
Messenger and Message Type were valid and active, but the messenger send method failed.
The email did not send successfully.
The WordPress wp_mail function is used for sending mails but does not give any useful information when an email fails to send.
It is possible the “to” address (deblamperd@bigpond.com) or “from” address (Bank Of Ideas ) is invalid.”
Any other suggestions ??

What do you have set within the FROM field?

This error:

Would suggest its using just the company email and not the email.

From field is:
[CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL]

Do you have an email address set within Event Espresso -> General Settings -> Your Organization -> Primary Contact Email?

If not set you admin email and the emails should then work.

If you already have one set try chancing [CO_FORMATTED_EMAIL] to [CO_EMAIL] and retest.

Thanks for your support Tony.
In the end it was the Mandrill API that was the issue. Since becoming a part of Mailchimp we hadn’t verified domain name and hence it had stopped sending emails.
I appreciate your support. A great plug in.
