Hello,
EE 4, Version 4.9.46.p
After finalizing the payment for an event and selecting “paypal” as the choice of payment, the site is not going to paypal, but rather another Registration Checkout page with the line “If you are not automatically redirected to the payment website within 10 seconds… ” which still does not redirect to paypal. http://d.pr/i/W6TDbA
If you click the “Click Here” button, you will be taken to paypal. This is not ideal though and was wondering what might be causing this not to redirect to paypal?
Noticed this post https://eventespresso.com/topic/paypal-redirecting-after-registration/ but do not see that same option now.
Note: We had this installed on another site recently and it was working fine. Aka the site was redirecting to the paypal payments page on its own.
Any thoughts?

Hi there,
The setting you saw in the other thread was actually for Event Espresso 3. With EE4 the redirect should happen automatically. May I ask does the other site (where the redirect did work) have the same plugins and WP theme?

Hi Josh,
I actually did a compare of the plugins and files. The issue seemed to be due to the javascript libraries being used on the site (the site where it was working had older/different files). It looks to work now.

What can happen is if there’s a JavaScript error coming from the theme or another plugin, it could potentially stop the page before it does the redirect.
