After upgrading to 4.9.1, all the emails were sitting in the message queue to be sent but not sending. So I turned it to Generate emails on the same request and that seemed to got the message template emails to go out but I’m not getting the “Your Event Registration Details” emails. This one was automatic, not with a template. How are those sent and what triggers it, and why is it not going out anymore?
First check your ‘Registration Approved’ message templates are active.
Go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates.
Look within that list (note there may be multiple pages) and see if you can find the ‘Registration Approved’ template.
If not go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings.
DO you see the Registration Approved message type shown under email?
