Hi
We have just set up Events Espresso to book spaces on our workshops and so far so good.
There is however one minor problem: We use PayPal Express as our payment provider. On Payment he system says “If you are not automatically redirected to the payment website within 10 seconds… ” and a click here button, but the site doesn’t connect to PayPal automatically, it has do be clicked manually.
It doesn’t sound much but we have had 3 people complain about this in the last 2 days.
Please advise what I can do if you you need a tempotaty login.

Hi Deb,
The reason that’s happening is there is a JavaScript error being thrown on the page, which then prevents EE’s JavaScript from running (which is used to redirect the user).
The reason you’re getting an error is something on your site is loading a custom version of jQuery from ‘https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.2.1.min.js’, which is incorrect on a WP site and causes these kinds of issues.

Generally when we see this is from the site’s theme and needs to fixed within that, but it can also be a plugin.
If you go to Dashbaord -> Plugins
Do you see any ‘jQuery Updater’ or similar plugins listed there?
