I’ve added the support license key purchased yesterday, but the response is that it is invalid or out of date. Hence, dashboard is telling me there is an update available but not allowing me to update. Support key is ** Removed, please don’t post license keys on the forums – Tony** What I see in dashboard is: Event Espresso Out-of-the-box Events Registration integrated with PayPal IPN for your WordPress blog/website. Support A new version of Event Espresso is available. View What’s New with version 3.1.37.8.P. A valid Support License Key is needed to enable automatic upgrades. The key you have entered is invalid or has expired. Please log in to your Event Espresso account to manage your Support License Keys or purchase a support license right now.

Hi Tony, It turns out that your current support license is for Event Espresso 4. You can go to your account page and you’ll see a box that says “Switch Your Support License”. There you can select an EE3 license plan, which will allow for updates for EE3. |

Hi, I switched the license to EE3 Personal, and it asked me to pay another $99 to go back to EE3, when we already had EE3. All I want to do is update EE3. Should I simply activate EE4 instead? And will there be problems on the site if I do that, or does it mean I have to set up everything on the site all over again in EE4 if I do that? |

Hi Tony, I have reset your license key. You’ll need to go to Event Espresso -> General Settings. Remove the license key (cut), save the settings, replace the key (paste) and save the settings once more. Be sure to check for whitespace before/after the key before saving. You will also receive an email with these instructions. If the update then doesn’t work please let me know. |
