After I manually install event-espresso-core-reg v4.9.79.p I get this error on screen:

I tried to change to chmod 777 but issue continues.

Hi,
Did you check to see if you “manually” uploaded that specific file? The error message indicates that the file is missing.

File os uploaded correctly after unzip, a lo I do is chown-R www-data:www-data the donde.

I mean, all I do after unzip is chown -R www-data the folder.

Your reply doesn’t answer my question.
Have you tried using the WP plugin page zip uploader? I’m curious to know if you’re even uploading EE4 to the wp-content/plugins folder.

I downloaded again the plugin from EE website, uploaded and finally I got the plugin upgraded correctly. Thanks for your help!
