Every time I go to add a new event on Event Espresso I fill out the information as usual and as soon as I click “submit new event” it jumps back to the add new event page and erases all of the information I just inputted.
That version was released 5 years ago. What’s probably happening there is your site has a current version of WordPress(4.7), and that 3.1.15.p version was built for WordPress 3.3. Event Espresso 3.1.15.p is not compatibility with the newer versions of WordPress (4.x or greater).
So to continue using Event Espresso, you’ll need to update to a current version of EE3. Since it appears that you don’t have a support license, you can buy an EE3 support license to get access to download EE3 from your account page. You can also download the lite version here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/event-espresso-free/
Thanks, Josh. I just updated and it appears to have the same result. There is no error or anything… it just loads a new, blank add event page as soon as I click submit. I’ve tried on several browsers to make sure that wasn’t the issue..
Can you check your server’s PHP error logs? The other thing you can try is temporarily deactivate all other WordPress plugins to rule out a plugin conflict.
