Every time I try to save any PHP files for my site I keep getting this error.

Your PHP code changes were rolled back due to an error on line 148 of file wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/domain/services/pue/Stats.php. Please fix and try saving again.

Class ‘EE_Admin_Page’ not found

I checked the file where it says there is an error but the class that is not found is there so I am not sure why I keep getting this error.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi,

I’m not able to replicate this on a dev site. You could either a) just use sFTP to edit PHP files and avoid the WP editors error checking or b) troubleshoot by deactivating all other plugins except Event Espresso and try editing a file again. This will rule out the possibility of another plugin that changes the loading order of the PUE stats file.

Hello

I have tested by deactivating different plugins one by one but that did not fix the issue. The only thing that did fix the issue was deactivating event espresso itself.

Do you have any other suggestions?

Thanks

I’ve managed to reproduce this, but only if you leave the UXIP notice displaying on the site.

So on your site do you have a notice showing with this text:

The Event Espresso UXIP feature is not yet active on your site. For more info and to opt-in click here.

Displayed at the top of the page? If so, click the link for more info to find out what UXIP is, there is also a link to take you to the settings page that enables it on your site should you wish.

Click the ‘Dismiss’ button on the notice once you understand it and the error should be removed.

I’ll create a ticket to investigate this further and see if we can prevent the error from happening in the first place, but the quickest solution right now is to dismiss that notice.
