Not able to add additional tickets and tickets not showing as being added

Hi – I am using v4.10.29.p and have run in to a few issues that I don’t recall seeing previously. The Registration page is https://www.christmasexpo.com/events/2022-christmas-expo-registration/

1. When someone clicks on “Add to Event Cart,” the item is added to the cart, but the heading on the popup box says “0 items were successfully added for this event.” The text underneath it though says “There is currently 1 item in the Event Cart.”

2. When an item is in the Event Cart, there is no way to add anything additional. If you return to the Registration page, the button at the bottom says “View Event Cart” and there is no way to add anything additional to your order.

3. We only have 1 event a year. Is there a way to change the button in the checkout areas that say “Return to Events List” to have it return instead to the Registration page that was used for the item(s) in the cart?

4. If #3 is not possible above, how can I change the link on the Events List page that says “Learn More” to say “Registration Page?”

Update: I was able to override #1 above by disabling the Multi-Event plugin, although I am still curious why the message said “0 items were successfully added..” Still need help with the additional items mentioned – thanks.

Hi there,

This is due to a change in how the ticket selector submits the qty value and we’ll be pushing an update for the Multi Event Registration add-on to fix it soon.

2. When an item is in the Event Cart, there is no way to add anything additional. If you return to the Registration page, the button at the bottom says “View Event Cart” and there is no way to add anything additional to your order.

If you select additional tickets and then click on that button those will be added to the order, currently the Multi Event Registration add-on forces the ticket selector button to show ‘View Event Cart’ if any tickets are in the current cart for that user.

3. We only have 1 event a year. Is there a way to change the button in the checkout areas that say “Return to Events List” to have it return instead to the Registration page that was used for the item(s) in the cart?

So you want to return to the page the user just come from? It is possible, but depends on your server config if it work, to do so add this snippet to the site:

Its also possible to chant the URL used by that button to a something else if preferred?

Both are possible, for this you need to include this snippet:

You can add that to the plugin create you created for the above and just change 'Return to Event List' to whatever you prefer to use in its place.
